Ocean Odyssey

Two-part documentary looking at life in our oceans. It's 2004, and an 80-year-old, 45 tonne bull sperm whale is found stranded on a beach in New Zealand. His body carries the scars of a life lived in the most extreme environment on earth - the deep ocean. In 1929 he was a two-year-old and we follow him through to the 1940s, taking in spectacular sights from the bottom of the Atlantic and the Pacific Oceans.
