Accused of dereliction of duty, Wetzel admits to being diverted on the job, but insists that Mac and Harm must keep him out of jail, since his arrest would certainly mean losing his son.
  • Yesterday's Heroes When a luxury yacht owned by a reputed South American drug trafficker mysteriously sinks and the Navy is suspected, Harm, Mac and Bud are put on the case. Meanwhile, Artemus Sullivan, a World War II Navy veteran, with the help of his aged cronies, devises plans from a nursing home to make sure the drug dealer responsible for Sullivan's grandson's death is brought to justice.
  • The Stalker Following her ugly break-up with Dalton Lowne, Mac has reason to believe that he's stalking her - until he's killed during an apparent car-jacking and the stalking continues. Much to Harm's dismay, the strain of the two events pushes Mac to the edge - and to the bottle.

Forensic pathologist Lt Cmdr Teresa Coulter joins Harm and Mac on the case.
  • To Russia with Love Clayton Webb meets with Harm at JAG and tells him who the men in the photo are. Webb mentions that one of them, Victor Lushov, is now working in San Diego. Harm requests from the Admiral to take an F-14 hop to San Diego to visit his mother, keeping secret his true intentions.
  • Impostor Clark Palmer, a renegade government agent, breaks into Harm's apartment and incapacitates him. Palmer then makes a cast of Harm's face in order to prepare a mask that he can wear to pass for Harm. Palmer plans to murder the key witness in the trial at which Harm and Mac are currently prosecutors.
  • Clipped Wings Political pressures come into play after an F-14 pilot clips a ski helicopter during a NATO exercise over Italian airspace, killing six civilians. Harm and Mac are assigned to opposite sides in the case, but the Italian government wants to prosecute on its own.
  • Wedding Bell Blues Bud has his hands full when his obnoxious and abusive father, Big Bud, and his younger brother, Mikey, arrive in town for his wedding. Big Bud throws a stag party at a boisterous strip club where Harm's dress whites end up on the body of a stripper. A fight breaks out and Harm, Bud and Chegwidden find themselves in the slammer on the day of the wedding.
  • Embassy While at the Sudanese Embassy, Harm, Mac and other dignitaries are taken hostage by a band of terrorists led by an ambitious government official.
  • Innocence Harm and Mac must don their diplomatic hats when they're dispatched to Tokyo to represent an ensign accused of raping a young Japanese girl. Once the trial begins, the disparities between Japanese and American courtroom procedures put Harm at odds with the ensign's Japanese defence attorney, in turn putting US/Japanese relations at an all-time low.
  • Going After Francesca After Admiral Chegwiddens daughter Francesca is kidnapped in Italy, Chegwidden meets with his ex-wife Marcella and her husband, a wealthy Italian businessman, to get more background on Francesca's friends and enemies.
  • The Martin Baker Fan Club Harm volunteers to defend a psychotic Vietnam vet accused of aiding the suicide of a fellow VA patient. While Harm argues in court that Roscoe Martin withheld the victim's medication as a way to free him from the trance-like state in which it left him, the prosecution claims that the lack of medication is exactly what caused the man's death.
  • Act of Terror Millions of viewers turn into witnesses when they see a Marine guard shoot an arrested terrorist on live television, and it's Harm's job to defend him. With Mac on the prosecution, she and Harm are pitted against each other in what seems like an open-and-shut case of cold-blooded murder.
  • Angels 30 When a fighter pilot claims he heard the voice of God tell him not to fire on an attacking Iraqi, Harm and Mac are sent in to investigate his claim. Despite the pilot's assertions that he heard God, Harm insists on finding a more military explanation. When Harm fails, to discover the origination of the voice, he suggests that Rice duplicates his earlier mission to see what they can learn about the incident from the sky.
  • Mr Rabb Goes to Washington Harm is sent to Washington DC, to join a committee formed to judge the validity of a shocking television report - that US forces used sarin gas on fellow Americans during the Gulf War. What he uncovers, though, is so unexpected that he can't present it without the testimony from a key witness, Sgt Morrison, who was actually on the mission in question in the Gulf.
  • People v. Mac Mac is arrested and placed on trial for a major felony, along with her former commanding officer and mentor, Col John Farrow. Conviction could result in long prison terms. Harm volunteers to defend her, but his efforts are thwarted by Farrow's defence attorney, JAG exchange officer Australian Navy Commander Mic Brumby.
  • The Black Jet Harm and Mac are sent on a covert mission to Iran to recover a downed pilot and his $80 million jet without letting the Iranians know.
  • Jaggle Bells Mac's `little sister' unexpectedly shows up at JAG headquarters, declaring that she has run away from her abusive stepfather.   • Secret Agent Man Harm finds his first mission flying for the CIA takes him to the Philippines where he must drop a limo. Back at JAG, Mikey Roberts calls on Mac to help him when he must act as a character witness in an honour code conflict.
  • Touchdown A CIA mission sends Harm and Beth O'Neil to Libya to pull an agent out of the country, but when the agent wants Harm to transport the entire family, Harm has to modify his mission while avoiding contact with the Libyan authorities.
  • Close Quarters Due to an overloaded JAG caseload, which was made worse by the review of all of Cmdr Imes' cases, the admiral has the SecNav reinstate Harm's Naval Commission, clearing the way for Harm to return to JAG.

  • A Girl's Best Friend As Harm now has custody of Mattie, PO2 Jennifer Coates agrees to move into an apartment down the hall from him. Admiral Chegwidden looks into why the diamond he gave to Meredith for their engagement `just doesn't look right'.
  • Good Intentions When a female naval officer is found brutally murdered, it's up to Mac to defend the suspect - a male petty officer who was intoxicated and has absolutely no recollection of the entire evening.
  • People vs SecNav When civilians are killed in a bombing raid, an International Criminal Court charges the United States with war crimes and the SecNav is the one on trial representing the USA. The SecNav is defended by Harm, Mac and Bud who find they must also defend the United States' decision to wage the war.
  • Crash The crash of an aircraft into an aircraft carrier is believed to be the result of the pilot committing suicide, which has Harm and Mac squaring off against one another - especially as Mac wants to hold the pilot's commanding officer responsible when she learns that he knew the pilot was deeply depressed before taking off.
  • Take It Like a Man Mac continues to be tormented by her feelings about having to kill Sadik Fahd, which begin to interfere with the other parts of her life, including her defence of a former Marine.

And Bud comes to the aid of a marine singer who is being harassed by the record company he is signed with: they object to him serving in the war.
  • Hail and Farewell Admiral Chegwidden reveals a surprising decision he has made, Mac is given some news about her health and Harm is faced with a personal loss.
  • A Separate Peace Admiral Boone is nominated to become the sixth fleet commander. An anonymous informant accuses Adm Boone of slaughtering civilians during the Vietnam War, and Harm and Mac have only four days to investigate the claim.
  • A Separate Peace Harm and Mac defend Adm Boone in court against charges that he was responsible for killing civilians during the Vietnam War. Although he is eventually acquitted, he decides that it is probably best to retire from the service, despite Harm's objection that the Navy needs men like him.
  • Meltdown With Harm under arrest for the murder of a JAG officer, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service builds a case against him.
  • Salvation A marine sergeant in prison needs Harm's help again when his prints are found on a murder weapon.
  • Adrift Mac becomes upset when Harm tells her at the last minute that he will not be attending her rehearsal duty, in order to complete his carrier-landing qualifications. He assures her that he will be back in time for the wedding.
  • Adrift Harm's chance of being rescued from the Atlantic Ocean hinges on Mac's psychic ability. However, Mac is trying to cope with her conflicting emotions for both Harm and Mic.
  • New Gun in Town Unwilling to face her pain over Mic and Harm, Mac is granted a temporary assignment on the carrier USS Guadalcanal (along with Gunny) when the staff JAG there disappears. Harm returns to active duty after Renee's father's funeral.
  • Measure of Men Still aboard the USS Guadalcanal, Mac is called upon to prosecute a major accused of negligent homicide by the ship's captain.
  • Guilt Following the transfer of a US marine accused of rape from the local Indonesian police to his CO at the Indonesian consulate, the consulate comes under siege by angry, armed locals.
  • Mixed Messages After a break-in and murders at a Naval Annex building in Washington, DC, Harm finds out that one of the victims was a friend of his, who is also suspected of passing information to the Chinese.
  • Redemption While filling in at Patuxent River for pilots that have been deployed overseas, Harm learns that his friend, Cmdr Scott Webster, is being charged with fraternising with his RIO.
  • The One That Got Away Turner and Mac battle it out when a marine is charged with dereliction of duty.
  • Ambush Harm defends a marine, who says he was obeying verbal orders when his violation of the rules of engagement led six soldiers to their deaths in an ambush.
  • Dog Robber A navy P-3 spy plane is rammed by a Chinese MIG and is forced to land at a Chinese air base. The SecNav requests Adm Boone be re-activated to active duty, in order to travel with Harm to the air base to negotiate with the Chinese for the release of the plane and its crew.
  • Jag-a-Thon Personal rivalries surface in the JAG office when Mac assures Harm that she'll beat him to the finishing line in the Jag-a-thon for charity.
  • Dog Robber Harm defends Lt Barrett, who claims he disobeyed orders and destroyed the P-3 spy plane held hostage by the Chinese because he believed it was the right thing to do. Harm and Sturgis go head to head at the lieutenant's court-martial as Harm tries to keep him out of Leavenworth, where he could be sentenced to 25 years for his actions.
  • Answered Prayers When a pretty female petty officer is arrested by the MP's for impersonating a Salvation Army bell-ringing Santa and pocketing the cash, Harm is assigned as her attorney. However, since she has a history of unauthorised absences, she is ordered to be held in custody. As it's the holidays, the brig and pre-trial detention centre are unavailable, and she is estranged from her father, so she must spend the holiday with Harm or Mac.
  • The Killer Rabb and Manetti are sent to Italy to find a killer who may be a sailor on board a US naval ship. At JAG people talk to Singer about her pregnancy.
  • Capital Crime Mac's psychic vision talents come into play when a female naval officer is found with her throat slashed in a local park.
  • Code of Conduct Harm defends a Navy SEAL accused of disobeying orders when his return to a hostile area in Afghanistan, to retrieve a wounded comrade, results in the death of another officer. Complicating the issue is the dead officer's pregnant widow, who is determined to have justice served, even though the accused man was her husband's best friend. Meanwhile, Admiral Chegwidden is asked to resign after he slaps a high-school student.
  • Odd Man Out Harm faces Mac in court when he defends a Navy medical corpsman accused of murdering a marine sergeant during a training exercise.
  • The Mission - Part 1 Harm and Mac return to the aircraft carrier USS Seahawk to brief the JAG officers on the new rules of engagement, following the escape of Taliban fighters as a result of a JAG officer's hesitation in determining if the target was legitimate.
  • Persian Gulf Sadik Fahd, who held Mac and Webb captive in Paraguay at the end of the last season, shows up in Washington DC and Mac has to wonder what he's up to when he begins to contact her. Harm temporarily loses his hearing when the car battery on his Corvette explodes whilst he's working on it.
  • Defending His Honour Harm, Mac and the Admiral return to the office from the USS Seahawk after finishing up with the military tribunal. They learn that respected Navy JAG judge Captain Sebring is charged with forcing another vehicle off the road - injuring the female driver and killing her six-month-old daughter. Harm is given the task of defending him, while Mac is ordered into the uncomfortable position of prosecuting him.
  • In Country Harm and Mac investigate a `collateral damage' incident in Afghanistan when an attack on an Al-Qaeda terrorist kills three innocent civilians. With the help of forensic pathologist Cmdr Teresa Coulter, Mac and Harm try to find out if any of the remains can be identified as belonging to Al-Qaeda leaders. Meanwhile, when Harm and Mac lose control of their Humvee, they are thrown into a minefield.
  • Enemy Below Admiral Chegwidden, Lt Singer and Cmdr Turner move over to the Pentagon War Room to co-ordinate and share intelligence information on Kabir Atef's planned attack on the US more easily. When an Afghan school is destroyed in a bombing raid, Bud and PO2 Coates fly to the scene to survey the damage. Meanwhile, Harm and Mac are still in Afghanistan attempting to pick up Kabir's trail.
  • Critical Condition Bud is airlifted to a field hospital, critical but still alive. On board the USS Seahawk, Harm and Mac prepare to meet Sturgis for their trip back to the States. Before they can leave, they are notified that Bud is being transferred to the USS Guadalcanal medical facility. Harm contacts the admiral to notify him about Bud and requests permission to stay behind.
  • Real Deal SEAL Lt Curtis Rivers a medal-winning Navy SEAL, is court-martialled for punching a congressional candidate who falsely claims to be a Navy SEAL. Rivers explains that he is on a crusade to expose Navy SEAL impostors. In order to prove his point to Harm, who is assigned to defend him, Rivers places him in the centre of a dangerous plot to expose another fake SEAL.
  • Body Talk Harm reopens a ten-year-old murder case and unexpectedly incurs the wrath of the victim's daughter, his friend Lt Cmdr Teresa Coulter. Harm feels that the original trial attorney didn't dig deeply enough into the case and, as he pursues the investigation, a new picture begins to develop.
  • Ready or Not Harm doesn't have much hope in his defence of a two-star general court-martialled for disobedience and reckless endangerment during a war game. His job is made more complicated when in a rare move, Mac is appointed as the judge.
  • All Ye Faithful On board the aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea, Harm and Admiral Boone await the arrival of the transport plane to take them back to DC. After a landing mishap, the two friends realise that they will be spending this Christmas Eve on a carrier.
  • Legacy While Harm is sent to Russia to help the Russians find a better way to implement their military justice procedures, Mac and Bud remain behind to prosecute a naval commander charged with selling military secrets to the Russians. Once in Russia, Harm becomes involved in investigating high-level corruption in the military.
  • Legacy Harm is distraught when his newly discovered half-brother, Sergei, is framed for a crime punishable by death, while Mac arrives in Russia to prevent a presidential assassination.
  • A Tangled Webb (Part II) Harm, Mac, Webb and Gunny are still in Paraguay searching for the terrorist Sadik. Their search is complicated by Harm's feelings being tangled up, which drove him to resign his commission and rush to South America in the first place.
  • Hail and Farewell Mac is unable to accept the news that Clayton Webb really is dead and ends up in possible danger looking into Webb's ``death''. With the retirement of Rear Admiral AJ Chegwidden, Cmdr Sturgis Turner is named Acting Judge Advocate Genera.
  • Corporate Raiders When a marine is killed in Iraq as the result of friendly fire, Harm and Mac's investigation results in the possible involvement of a private military contractor.
  • Retrial Harm defends a seaman who was wrongly convicted of murdering a transvestite hooker 22 years earlier. Mac zealously prosecutes a chief warrant officer for bigamy.
  • A Tangled Webb Harm reaches Peru and searches for Mac and Webb. Once they are freed they must destroy the weapons the dealers were trafficking.
  • Whole New Ball Game When the president puts Colonel Cresswell, a marine, on the short list for the new JAG appointment, the SECNAV tries to interfere. Mac and Harm investigate the shooting of a Canadian fisherman by a naval ensign.
  • This Just in From Baghdad A senior adviser for the Defence Department was killed while on a fact-finding mission with US marines in Baghdad. General Cresswell has taken over the post as Judge Advocate General.
  • One Big Boat When a naval academy sailing team is caught in a squall and one of the team members drowns, Mac and Turner are left to determine if their driven commander willingly put his crew at risk.
  • Camp Delta When an undercover US soldier posing as a detainee is beaten into a coma at Guantanamo Bay, Harm and Mac are sent over to provide a trial team for a court martial. Bud faces assault charges and the threat of losing his job.
  • There Goes the Neighbourhood Jennifer's past comes back to haunt her with the return of a former acquaintance, who becomes too enamoured with her JAG life. Bud defends a pilot who took a thrill-seeker on a doomed flight with an F-18 purchased on the Internet.
  • The Man on the Bridge The car of a Navy commander who works at a bio-weapons defence lab is found abandoned on a narrow two-lane bridge over the Potomac River. Suicide is suspected, but no body has been found.
  • Four Percent Solution Mac, wrestling with grief, seeks the advice of Lt Cmdr McCool.
  • Automatic for the People When a Navy F-14 crashes outside a town in California, Harm is summoned by General Cresswell to conduct an investigation of the accident. Meanwhile, Turner is assigned to discreetly examine whether his friend and colleague, Bud, acted inappropriately at an anger management class.
  • Sixth Juror When an enlisted man is involved in a civilian murder case, Harm and Mac are sent to Florida to defend and prosecute. Meanwhile, Bud is left at JAG headquarters to review appeals.
  • Heart of Darkness When a marine captain is accused of murdering five Afghans, Harm and Mac are summoned to Afghanistan to provide military counsel for him. Meanwhile, big Bud is recalled to active duty and turns to his son, Bud, for help.
  • Fit for Duty When a Navy psychiatrist treating a young marine in Afghanistan is accused of malpractice, Harm and Mac are summoned to determine whether the accusation is just. Meanwhile, Bud defends a commander in an age discrimination suit.
  • Bridging the Gulf When Harm travels to the Persian Gulf to investigate a murder involving Iraqi fishermen, he finds himself in hot water. Meanwhile, Mac defends a marine accused of illegally seizing an Iraqi's car.
  • Straits of Malacca When Mac and Lt Vukovic travel to Indonesia to negotiate the release of hostages, they find themselves swept up in a diplomatic nightmare. Meanwhile, Bud and Harriet have an open-house to celebrate the arrival of their new twins, while the general's daughter strikes up a relationship with midshipman Mike Roberts.
  • JAG- San Diego When part of the team travels to San Diego for JAG's annual conference, Mac and Vukovic also find themselves working closely together on a case at Camp Pendleton. Meanwhile, tragedy strikes when Mattie is involved in a serious accident.
  • Death at the Mosque When a US marine shoots a wounded and apparently unarmed Iraqi, Vukovic is assigned to investigate the case. Meanwhile, Harm stays near Mattie's bedside waiting for answers and the general asks a favour of Mac.
  • Two Towns Mac goes to Iraq to investigate a bombing that killed a group of marine reservists, while Harm and Bud go to Oklahoma to assist their families.
  • Unknown Soldier Gen Cresswell's brother believes that the remains of a Vietnamese soldier found are those of a helicopter pilot who saved his life during the war.
  • Dream Team When Vukovic goes up against a high-profile lawyer in a manslaughter case, Cresswell assigns Harm to help him and the two jokingly become known as the `dream team'.
  • Fair Winds and Following Seas The end of a long journey: when Cresswell gives Harm and Mac relocation orders, they must choose which JAG team members are going with them. Meanwhile, Vukovic is assigned to visit Parris Island and investigate a marine recruit's odd behaviour.
  • Pas de Deux Harm can't get any information on Webb and Mac. He asks the Admiral for permission to find them, but the Admiral refuses so Harm resigns his commission to go after them. Mac and Webb locate and manage to eliminate one drug dealer who was supplying arms while Gunny is captured by another dealer who was helping smuggle arms. Mac and Webb get captured trying to rescue him.
  • Gypsy Eyes Having been shot at by Russian fighters, Mac and Harm are forced to eject from their plane, which then noses into the bottom of a very deep lake. The Russians announce to the world that Harm and Mac have been killed; however they are taken in by gypsies who look after them.
  • The Good of the Service When a Marine colonel defies orders from superiors, as well as the State Department, and rescues his men who are being held and tortured by a Haitian warlord, he is court-martialled. Harm and Mac are assigned as prosecutors and are shocked when they find they must go head to head with Chegwidden.
