  • Family Picnic In a post-apocalyptic world, two children secretly film their self-absorbed parents. They try desperately to capture rare glimpses of affection on their parents' faces. The images they collect will help them build a new world all of their own.

  • First the Worst A gang of children run wild in the sand dunes near their holiday camp. When a new boy arrives and tries to join in, the leader of the gang establishes his authority by inventing rules and bullying the new boy. However the gang leader's own father treats him badly too.
  • Edna's Bench After the death of his wife, George, a man in his 80s, decides to honour her memory by placing a bench at the bus stop. George is lonely and is glad to talk about his wife, Edna, to a teenager he befriends at the bus stop. The boy, Dylan, is also suffering grief and guilt after the death of his young sister.
  • Be a Man Steve is just an average teenager who wants to make it through the day without dying of embarrassment. His father, however, is a macho unreconstructed male who wants his son to be more like him. A comic take on how the father's interference in dealing with the boys who have been bullying Stevie eventually leads to his transformation into a mini version of his father.
  • Tick Tock A young boy, Bryn, mourns the loss of his brother Johnner who has died in a car accident. Bryn blames himself because he had taken his brother's watch and he thinks this made Johnner late and therefore he was driving too fast. Bryn imagines his brother talking to him, which helps him cope with his loss.
  • The Trouble with Gran Gran, her daughter, and two children live in rural mid-Wales. As avid readers they rely on the mobile library. When they hear that the council is about to shut it down Gran and her two grandchildren start a petition. When that fails they decide to steal the van and run the library themselves.
  • The Making Of A look at the TV training scheme `It's My Shout' in which young talents from all over Wales create six short films for TV, alongside experienced industry mentors. Thousands of young people are involved in this annual process giving opportunities and valuable experiences both behind the scenes and in front of the camera. We meet some of the participants.

  • Monster `Monster' is a comical short film about a family raising a spoilt daughter. Filmed in Blaenau Gwent and Porthcawl, showcasing young local actors and crew.
  • King of the Castle Directed by John Rennie, `King of the Castle' is a heart-warming short film about two brothers and their relationship after their father's death. Filmed in Bridgend and Cardiff and showcasing local actors and crew.
