Great pistols of fire! Kings of Leon are to release a film which tells the story of their fabled journey from strict Pentecostal upbringing in small town America to world’s biggest and hippest rock band (we’ll just forget about their last album..) Talihina Sky: The Story Of Kings Of Leon – which is due to debut at this month’s Tribeca film festival – was put together by director Stephen C Mitchell, who told the New York Times that the film is a “fascinating insight for fans and non-fans about a group of musicians who will never forget their strict Pentecostal upbringing or rough-and-tumble back-country roots”.
