Director Todd Phillips (The Hangover Trilogy) directs this true life story of a pair of twentysomething gun runners who find themselves in way over their heads. The story revolves around David Packouz (Miles Teller), a struggling Miami based masseuse decides to ditch his failing business and takes up with old school pal; Efraim Diveroli (Jonah Hill), who has recently been taking minor defence contracts with the US government.
With his new recruit on board and a foolhardy confidence driving him, Diveroli decides to takes his business to the next level. Next thing you know the pair wind up in bed with the Afghan military and in contact with a suspect veteran arms dealer (Bradley Cooper) who may well be more dangerous than even he lets on.
