Released in 1937, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the first full-length, animated film from Disney.

Based on the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, it tells the story of the young Princess – Snow White – who hides out with the seven dwarfs to avoid her wicked stepmother, who plans to kill her.

Even 80 years after its release, Snow White is still fun and fresh viewing. The film was a critical success, and is still loved by adults and children alike.

This is the perfect opportunity to look at the origins of Disney becoming a huge empire, which it still is today; all beginning with this fabulous film.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is on Sky Cinema Disney at 3pm.
