Former reality TV star Craig Chalmers has been axed from a Christmas panto, after it emerged that he had appeared in a porn film.
The actor-cum-pornster finished in fifth place in 2007âs Any Dream Will Do, the BBC talent show which searched for a new star to play Joseph in Andrew Lloyd Webberâs musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
He has since embarked on a career on stage, and was set to play Prince Charming at the Alhambra Theatre in Dunfermline, Scotland.
However, he has now been replaced by CBBCâs James MacKenzie after a member of the public stumbled upon Chalmersâ porn sideline.
According to The Sun, Chalmers starred under the alias Ryan Ryder, with his own profile on the adult talent agency website JEM.
Chalmers has stated he is not âashamedâ? of his new porn role, explaining there had been a âcrossoverâ? period between his career.
He said: âIâm not ashamed of it. Iâm being well paid and Iâm comfortable doing it.
However there has been an unintended crossover and Iâm well aware that there is a conflict of interest.â?
Musical porn is merely the latest fetish garnering the attention of men the world over.
As of yet there is no word on whether Chalmers will appear in the inevitable Joseph porn version ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcock’.
