Ashleigh and Pudsey to Judge ‘Top Dog Model’

Just days after signing a £350,000 book contract, Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashleigh and Pudsey look to boost their earnings even more as they sign up to judge a new canine talent show called Top Dog Model.

The show will be the latest addition to ITV2, a channel which airs Britain’s Got Talent reruns as well as Britain’s Got More Talent, and will see the winning dog land a modelling contract.

An ITV spokesman said: ‘We want to include pooches of all varieties, shapes and size – along with their owners – in this exciting series.’

Since winning Britain’s Got Talent and performing for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance, Pudsey and his sixteen year old owner have been taking the US by storm; joining Simon Cowell on his private jet to LA and making a series of television appearances on some of America’s favourite shows including America’s Got Talent and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

However it now seems that Ashleigh and her faithful companion will soon be back in Britain to begin their duties as reality show judges.

The pair’s earnings have already catapulted to £1 million after pocketing £500,000 in winnings from the show and an additional £350,000 for agreeing to write Pudsey’s ‘autobidography’.

A source said, “Ashleigh and Pudsey are now millionaires thanks to this book deal and hopefully it is just the beginning. The book will be an autobiography, or an autobidography, as it is being dubbed. It will be out in December for Christmas and will tell the story of how Pudsey came to be such an amazing dog.”

Elsewhere the cute pooch and his owner have gained a substantial amount from a series of public appearances following their high profile victory.

And if that doesn’t seem like enough, the popular pair are also set to make their first panto appearance in Dick Whittington at Woking’s New Victoria Theatre this Christmas and the deal is rumoured to pile on an additional £150,000 to their ever-growing earnings.
