Aston Kutcher signs on to Two and Half Men to replace Charlie Sheen

After Charlie Sheen’s colossal meltdown in front of the eyes of the world, the situation between him and his sitcom bosses became untenable.

Two and Half Men bosses have decided to replace Sheen, with Hugh Grant’s name previously in the frame, but rumours were dismissed. Now it would appear that Ashton Kutcher has actually signed up to replace Sheen.

Kutcher had been writing cryptic messages on his Twitter account all day, hinting that something is going on. He then added: “What’s the square root of 6.25? The answer is, in fact, 2 1/2.”

Meanwhile, Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre said that he crafted a story line to introduce Kutcher in a way that satisfies the network and studio. “It’s really funny,” one source said. “People are going to love it.”
