Stewart Leeâs Comedy Vehicle will roll be rolling into TV town and tooting its horn once again, according to reports from Chortle.
Despite a pants track record when it comes to TV show longevity, Lee has managed to get two further series of his show commissioned by the Beeb.
Executive producer Armando Iannucci broke the news on Twitter. In response to a fanâs question, he tweeted: âYes! The BBC have commissioned 2 more series.â?
The DVD of the second series won a Chortle Award this week, while the show won two British Comedy Awards in December, which Lee admits he found âvery confusingâ.
Average figures for the first BBC Two show averaged just under one million viewers, while the second was moved to an 11.20pm slot designed for âmore experimental programmingâ?.
