BAFTA TV Awards 2018 winners

BAFTA awards

BBC Three sitcom This Country was the only show in last night’s BAFTAs to win more than one award.

The show won the award for “Scripted Comedy” while star Daisy May Cooper won “Female Performance in a Comedy Programme”. Elsewhere prizes also went to Casualty, Peaky Blinders and Britain’s Got Talent – where Ant was not present to collect the award with the rest of the cast.

Also, Blue Planet II won the “Must-see Moment” prize, journalist Kate Aide was given the BAFTA Fellowship, while football commentator John Motson was given a special award as he enters into retirement.
