Bap To Greggs For Apprentice’s Helen Milligan

Apprentice runner-up Helen Milligan has been handed a ‘very senior’ role at Gregg’s bakery following her success throughout the show’s tasks.

Britain’s most organised workaholic fell at the final hurdle of the show, losing to inventor Tom Pellereau who, let’s face facts, took the spoils not because he had done well on the show – but because he had a few half-decent ideas.

The 30-year-old had previously held the illustrious position of assistant to the CEO at the calorie busting food retailer, but impressed bosses with her performance on the business talent show by winning a record 10 out of 11 tasks on the reality show.

“She will be back with us and will be taking up a very senior position,” said Greggs’ finance director Richard Hutton, as the company took advantage of Milligan’s moment of fame by promoting her appointment to the press.

“Coming second was not the end for me, just the start.” said the new Greggs employee, after Lord Sugar pointing his famous finger at the company’s directors saying they would be “a bit of a mug” not to offer her a more significant position.
