BBC One Trounces ITV In Saturday Night Primetime Figures

The latest TV figures are in, and it’s not looking good for Harry Hill, whose TV Burp has fallen to its lowest audience figures since 2008.

On Saturday night, BBC One well and truly ‘owned’ the primetime slot, with shows such as Let’s Dance For Comic Relief (who can resist Noel Fielding dancing in a frock to Kate Bush) , The National Lottery and Casualty attracting an audience of 27.1% in comparison to ITV’s 15.9%.

Harry Hill’s TV Burp, now in its tenth series grabbed 17.9% viewers (still a rather respectable 4.27 million), while Ant & Dec’s Push The Button is losing 500,000 viewers by the week.

Still, we’re sure the BBC’s viewing schedule will provide bounds of comedy material at least for Harry…
