Forget blundering blokes causing havoc in a two-bed, BBC1’s latest family drama will provide the ‘female answer’ to Men Behaving Badly.
Mr and Mrs Jones – starring comedy favourite Sarah Alexander (Coupling, Green Wing) and MBB regular Neil Morrisey – will explore the complex life of its female protagonista, whilst keeping the comedic flavour of the popular nineties show.
According to reports by The Sun, the show will follow the life of Mrs Jones as she balances love, affection, sex and motherhood with an ex-husband, grown-up son, two young daughters and male admirers.
Created by the team behind Men Behaving Badly and starring one of its floppy-haired plonker leads, Morrisey, the six-part series will begin shooting in May and is due to hit screens later this year.
