After months of speculation, Bond 23’s title has finally been confirmed as Skyfall.
At a press conference attended by directed Sam Mendes, long time series producer Barbara Broccoli and Bond himself Daniel Craig, the cast and skeleton plot was announced.
It was strongly suspected that it would be called Skyfall at the beginning of October when Sony bought all the rights to a whole load of domain names.
Albert Finney and Ralph Fiennes are also confirmed to appear along with Javier Bardem who will play the villain. No word on whether or not he’ll have a bowl haircut though.
Female roles will be played by Naomie Harris who will play an agent called Eve and Bérénice Marlohe who will play a character call Severin.
Shooting begins today.
