Brad Pitt is in talks to join the cast of forthcoming thriller The Gray Man. Based on the novel by Mark Greaney, it will see Pitt as a CIA operative-turned-assassin who screws up his last job. This causes him to be put on a list for termination and he goes on the run to save himself and his two daughters who are unaware that he even exists.
Adam Cozad wrote the script which was good enough to end up on 2010 Black List. He’s also behind the forthcoming Jack Ryan reboot Moscow as well as the re-write for Tron director Joseph Kozinski’s next project, Archangel. James Gray (seriously), the director of Two Lovers and We Own The Night will be the man behind the cameras. Can we expect Joaquin Phoenix to be cast next? Gray’s worked with him on three of his four films, so it’s not much of a stretch for a fourth outing.
Pitt’s currently shooting post-apocalyptic zombie movie World War Z and will next be seen in baseball drama Moneyball.
