Um…yay? Director John M Chu has been after Bruce Willis for G.I. Joe for quite some time and now it looks like he’s finally getting his wish as Willis is currently in talks to play General Joe Colton, the orginal solider after whom the unit was named.
There’s still no word on exactly what the plot for the sequel will entail but it currently stars Channing “Punchy” Tatum, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Joseph Mazzello, Elodie Yung, Ray “Darth Maul” Park and Adrianne Palicki who will be facing off against the evil plans of Cobra.
Shooting starts at the end of the month for a 2012 release.
