Carrie-Anne Moss And Heather Graham To Star In Compulsion

Carrie-Anne Moss will star alongside Heather Graham in spell-check nightmare Egidio Coccimiglio’s new thriller Compulsion, the story of two very different women who live in neighbouring apartments.

Moss will play Saffron, a former child star with more than a trace amount of bitterness.  Graham meanwhile will be Amy, a chef who’s just surfaced from a tough break-up and dreams of her own show on The Food Channel.  But when she realise who Saffron is, things rapidly take a turn for the worse…

There’s a rather weird synopsis picked up by Coming Soon which states that “the chef fears nothing about life, her neighbour fears nothing about death”.  A bit of stabby-stabby then is it?

It’s hard to see which direction this is going but it all sounds a bit Single White Female to us (or the like the significantly poorly Hammer release The Roommate).

Wither way, Kevin Dillon and Joe Mantegna are also set to appear in as yet unspecified roles.  Shooting’s just started in Ontario, so hopefully we’ll know more soon.
