Chatty Cheryl to host her own show?

Hold on to your celebrity sunglasses – Cheryl Cole looks set to spew a whole heap of “New Year, New Meâ€? bumf about herself as plans for her very own late night chat show materialise.

After being publicly axed from the X-Factor panel and cheated on by her husband, it’s fair to say that 2011 was not a great year for the Geordie princess.

But according to reports this morning, Cheryl Cole may be set to experience a career revival in the shape of a brand new chat show on Channel 4.

Provisionally named Late Night with Cheryl, the show should not have any problem pulling in top guests what with all Cheryl’s celeb friends and her link to American pop royalty, will.i.am.

News is also abound that Chezza is being chased by top Hollywood names who are after her for big screen scripts.

One source close to Cole said: “There have been a few film roles and scripts sent to her from Hollywood that are being considered.

“She’s being hankered after to work on new music with US acts like Nicki Minaj, thanks to their mutual friend will.i.am.

“Cheryl’s main concerns in 2012 are her family, solo work and the reunion with Girls Aloud – will.i.am has tons of ideas for them.”

But with all these plans afoot, we’re not convinced that Cheryl isn’t hankering for a bit of the TV limelight in 2012.
