Cooper Passes On Man From U.N.C.L.E. Lead

Warner Bros. is having trouble grabbing a leading man for their upcoming film based on the TV series The Man From U.N.C.L.E. First George Clooney passed on the lead role, a spy named Napoleon Solo, and now so has Bradley Cooper presumably due to scheduling conflicts.

The original ‘60s show featured a pair of international agents, Solo and his partner Illya Kuryakin, as they thwarted the schemes of evil syndicate T.H.R.U.S.H.

While they still have to fill the lead, it is still rumored that Joel Edgerton will be tackling the part of Kuryakin. With Steven Soderbergh on to direct and a script by Scott Z. Burns (Contagion), this film has potential if they could only find someone to headline.
