Cowell Planning X Factor: The Musical?

News has emerged that Simon Cowell may be planning an X Factor musical.

The Mirror reports that the Red or Black creator has already been in talks with TV comedian Harry Hill and top music producer, Steve Brown, to put together a side-splitting script for a West End show.

It is thought he wants it to be a theatre production people will sing along to, and laugh at.

That is pretty much guaranteed.

A source said: “Simon is excited by the idea of taking The X Factor brand on to the London stage,” a source told the paper. “He is looking at great new songs and some laughter.

“It would be a perfect night out for X Factor fans and former stars of the show could be involved in it.â€?

The phenomenal success of the ITV show has attracted huge crowds of adoring fans who are probably going to be more than happy to part with any amount Cowell decides to charge for a ticket to the freak show…I mean musical.

Teen-boppers, One Direction, are the latest X-Factor favourites to experience success in the charts with their debut single, That’s What Makes You Beautiful, going straight to number one.
