Dancing On Ice Gets Lowest Ratings Ever

ITV’s ice-skating reality show (with what could turn out to be a fitting accronym) slumped to its lowest audience share EVER last night, with less than six million people tuning in to watch fitness expert Rosemary Conley get the boot.

The first episode averaged 6.98 million and the second part attracted 5.98 million, according to Brand Republic.

Yet the show remained the most watched thing on television at the time, although 8.5 million tuned into Call The Midwife later that evening.

Some pundits have argued that Dancing On Ice has missed the controversial presence of Jason Gardiner this year. The slap-headed antipodean may have been unpopular, but his antics scored the show headlines.

What do you think? Is DOI going downhill or is it as good as ever?
