Daniel Radcliffe Stars In Funny “SNL” Promo Vid

Funny guy: Daniel Radcliffe "excited" to host Saturday Night Live
A video promoting Daniel “Harry Potter” Radcliffe’s appearance as co-host on popular US show, Saturday Night Live, has just landed on the web and it’s really funny.

Radcliffe appears opposite cast member Jason Sudeikis in the trailer and the pair engage in some gentle promotional banter.

The clip begins with Sudeikis accusing Radcliffe of putting on a stupid accent as he asks: “What is that you’re doing with your voice?” asks Sudeikis. “Are you doing a character? Like a chimney sweep or something? Are you doing Winslet? What are you doing?”

He then asks Daniel Radcliffe about the little-known film franchise he is involved with. First asking who he actually played, Sudeikis then “mistakes” the films for sexual adventures as opposed to magical ones asking Daniel about the “sex scenes” he was involved with.

Radcliffe, who can be seen in the upcoming Woman In Black, recently said that it was a “no-brainer” accepting the offer to guest host the show and that he is “very excited” about the challenge.

“Ultimately, it was a no-brainer because I was working with John Larroquette [in ‘How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying’] at the time as well. He hosted a bunch of times when he was younger.

“It will be the kind of stuff I like, that kind of guerrilla style of getting stuff done when you just have to get it done,” he said.

“Nothing else matters. You have to do it. You have to achieve. By the end of the week, you’re going to be putting on an hour-and-a-half music-and-comedy show from scratch.”

Saturday Night Live with Daniel Radcliffe and Lana Del Ray airs January 14 on NBC.
