The teaser trailer for The Dark Knight Rises could be ready in time to be attached to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II when it’s released in July, according to reports.
Comic Book Movie is reporting that cinema owners have revealed a list that they have received detailing trailers and teasers for the upcoming months, and it has Christopher Nolan’s hotly anticipated Batman flick on it.
The Dark Knight hit cinemas back in July 2008 before going on to break box office records and picking up a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for Heath Ledger, the first teaser for the movie though was released in July of the previous year and screened before The Simpsons Movie. So it is not only possible but also highly probable that we could get our first glimpse of Nolan’s third Batman entry, which has already begun filming.
The Dark Knight Rises will star Christian Bale as the titular Caped Crusader, with Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman and Michael Caine to reprise their roles as Lucius Fox, Jim Gordon and Alfred respectively. Anne Hathaway joins as Selina Kyle/Catwoman with Nolan’s Inception alumni Tom Hardy, Jospeh Gordon Levitt and Marion Cotillard also joining the production. Hardy will play Bat-adversary Bane, Gordon-Levitt is to play Gotham city cop John Blake and Cotillard Wayne Enterprises’ Miranda Tate.
