The trailer, a juicy 25 second sprint through the legendary names involved in the upcoming rock doc, can be viewed below.
The bearded rocker has spent several months making the film about the studio which has seen the likes of Nirvana, Slipknot, Fleetwood Mac and Rage Against The Machine ricking out within its sacred walls.
Grohl has also sourced contributions from the likes of Nine Inch Nails’ maestro Trent Reznor, Tom Petty, Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, Queens Of The Stone Age’s Josh Homme and a whole host of others, who all appear in the trailer.
Corey Taylor has previously revealed that Grohl has also been recording with the documentary’s contributors as part of the project.
He said: “Dave is doing a documentary about the legendary board from Sound City that everybody and their mom recorded on and he’s slowly but surely gotten all these people together to make music on that board again.”
