Dog, whose titular reality TV show was cancelled earlier this year, and Brick, who achieved notoriety in April after she bemoaned the misfortune of being really, really, ridiculously good looking are amongst the line up for the upcoming installment of the celeb spin off, which is set to air later this year.
After the success of January’s Celebrity Big Brother 9, which attracted large ratings and audience approval, Channel 5 are willing to keep up to demand, with rumours that this year’s second run will start immediataly after the end of Big Brother 13.
Apparently joining Dog and Brick is “the old school garage MC slash singer”, otherwise known as Fazer, who had a starring role in Tulisa’s private reality show, Vernon Kay’s “sexting” partner and page three girl Rhian Sudgen, So Solid Crew rapper MC Harvey, and long serving Corrie actress Julie Goodyear, who played Bet Lynch for the good part of 25 years.
Additionally, Simon Cowell’s former mistress Jasmine Lennard is rumoured to be in talks with Celebrity Big Brother producers about appearing on the show, a source told The Sun. The model was rumoured to be having an affair with Cowell back in 2006, but a recent biography of the X Factor Don has brought her back into the spotlight.
It’s an eclectic line up, and Channel 5 bigwigs must be praying it’s successful as January’s series, which achieved popularity due to the antics of loose woman Denise Welch and X Factor bad boy Frankie Cocozza.
