Edgar Wright, director of Shaun of the Dead, has revealed that Frank Darabont asked him to direct an episode of hit US zombie-fest The Walking Dead.
âFrank asked me to do a Walking Dead, actually,â? he said speaking to Collider. But I feel that thereâs some subject matter that, like, even though itâd be great and I love that show: I actually watched four of the six episodes uninterrupted in one run; it was like zombie Pringles â I think that with something like that, with some TV shows, you wanna be in on the ground floor.â?
When pressed into saying whether he said yes or not, Wright answered, âWell, I really enjoyed the first season, and I wouldnât wanna be the guy that comes in and fucks it up.â?
