Eisenberg Tells Company To Go To (Camp) Hell

Jesse Eisenberg is suing the distributors of horror film Camp Hell, in which he made a brief appearance back in 2007.

A three million dollar lawsuit has been filed against Lionsgate and Grindstone Entertainment for using Eisenberg’s image and name to promote their movie, cashing in on his high-profile success since starring in movies such as The Social Network and Zombieland.

Despite featuring heavily on the cover for Camp Hell’s DVD release, Eisenberg only briefly appeared in the movie after agreeing to do the role as a favour to a friend.

A statement reads: “Eisenberg’s reputation and good will with the public and his fans will be severely harmed if they are duped into purchasing a copy of the Camp Hell DVD as a result of false advertising by defendants that it is a horror film starring Jesse Eisenberg,”

In case you were wondering who actually stars in the movie, Dana Delaney (from Desperate Housewives) is in it, and a few other people you’ve probably never heard of.
