Emma Stone In A Little White Corvette

Emma Stone had a rock solid year in 2011 with such success stories as Crazy, Stupid, Love and The Help and this year looks set to be no less fruitful.

She is already involved in Gangster Squad, which chronicles the LAPD’s fight to keep East Coast Mafia types out of Los Angeles in the 1940s and 50s, and will also star Ryan Gosling and Sean Penn. She also has an arty project about a guy who has spider-related powers in the works, namely Andrew Garfield’s Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man.

Serious film making is all very well but we love Emma when she is at her comedic best. Which is why….we are loving the news that the flame-haired lovely is involved in a funny-film, Little White Corvette.

The script, written by Michael Diliberti, finds a down-on-their-luck brother-sister duo travelling to Miami in order to sell a bag full of cocaine that their dead dad left in the trunk of his car. Plenty of comedy mileage, we are sure you’ll agree.

However, it seems that Diliberti’s original intention to direct the feature himself has been overruled. Producers are on the lookout for someone else to take a seat in the foldable chair.
