Seth Rogen, Jay Baruchel and Evan Goldberg have been kicking around ideas for a full-length film of their comedy trailer Jay And Seth Vs. The Apocalypse for quite some time now. Well, it seems to be coming to fruition as the film, now titled End Of The World, has added cameos from Emma Watson, Jason Segel and David Krumholtz to its line-up.
Rogen and Baruchel will play themselves in the movie, hiding out in an apartment as the world goes to pot around them.
They’ll be joined by James Franco, Jonah Hill, Danny McBride and Craig Robinson, all playing themselves and stuck at Franco’s place. Tensions are likely to run high and word is that not everyone’s going to survive the running time…
While most of the members of that line up seem natural choices – all of them having worked together in some way, shape or form over the years – Watson is a slightly stranger choice. But then again, she seems game for a laugh and it could be just the thing to help shatter the stiffness associated with Hermione.
She’s not the only Ex-Potterite to be involved with the production either – The Boy Who Lived himself, Daniel Radcliffe, was rumoured to appear when the trailer came out last year but that eventually went nowhere.
Rogen and regular partner in crime Goldberg have wrote the script and are co-directing the flick which is currently being filmed as we speak for a June 2013 release.
If you’ve not seen it, here’s the original trailer for Apocalypse to whet your appetite.
