Final Series Of Hustle Begins Filming

After seven series of swindling cash from a never-ending stream of morally bankrupt tycoons, the Hustle gang began filming their eighth and final series this week.

There are many things we’ll miss from the Beeb’s hit con marathon.. (Mickey Bricks’ faux American accent, that bloke from The Man From U.N.C.L.E and of course Eddie’s Bar, the nicest, emptiest club in London) ..however the cast have explained that they feel the time is now right to move on.

We say the cast, but we’ve only heard from Adrian Lestor, who plays the charming gang leader Mickey, who’s also directing the second episode of the upcoming series.

Hustle has been a big part of my life for the last 8 years. The time is right for me to move on. I’m looking forward to seeing what tricks the gang get up to in this last series and I’m very pleased to be given the opportunity to direct one of the episodes,” he said.

Executive Producer Karen Wilson, spoke of how the show had “gone from strength to strength every year, cementing its position as one of BBC One’s most successful dramas.”
