Harry Hill Confirms Last TV Burp Series?

Poor Harry Hill has been left in digestive hell as discussions over the fate of HH’s TV Burp have rumbled on for far too long.

But yesterday, the comedian – who has been making us guffaw at regurgitated TV clips since 2001 – confirmed on his blog that this will be his last series of TV Burp. *Cries into cornflakes*

Writing on his blog, Hill said: “The New (and , it seems last) series of TV Burp starts up on the 4th Feb and finishes 8 shows later at the end of March in a huge finale – SO MAKE THE MOST OF IT !!!â€?

In September last year, the funny man was reported to have declined a new contract with ITV, turning down a promised £1million renewal fee to spend more time with his family.

The tone of his recent blog entry suggest that the decision was made way above his head….but he has been quoted as calling the show “a dragâ€? to make and had ended up making him “suicidalâ€?.

The back and forth nature of the TV Burp debacle will no doubt continue for some time to come.

But fear not Hill fans, this morning Twitter has been abuzz with the news that Hill is in discussion with ITV big dog Peter Fincham, about starting work on some new TV shows.

Fincham told Broadcast magazine: “We’ve got a relationship with Harry Hill and we’re in discussions about a range of things for the future.â€?
