Hugh Laurieâs medical drama House could be nearing an end if comments from the actor are anything to go by.
Talking to the Radio Times, he said: âThe end of that season [season eight], right now, looks like the end of the show.â?
Laurieâs contract is up at the end of season eight and doubt remains over whether the show will continue.
The star reportedly earns £256,000 per episode of the show, and House remains the key reason his career launched in the United States.
Asked if it was his decision, he said that his current contract was “as far as theyâve got me for.”
His performance as the medical genius has won him two Golden Globe Awards, five Emmy nominations and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
