Hugh Grant Approached To Replace Charlie Sheen

According to Deadline, Hugh Grant has been approached to join Two And A Half Men, replacing troubled former star Charlie Sheen.

But talks with the Notting Hill actor have apparently stalled over ‘creative differences.’

CBS will present its 2011-12 line-up in little over a week, but the network hasn’t yet said what they plan to do with the show which was leading their ratings.

Grant isn’t the first to be linked with the role, as the rumours seem to have included half the male stars in Hollywood, including Jeremy Piven and Rob Lowe.

Deadline also say that Grant has been offered $1 million per episode.

For that sort of money, it must be some serious creative differences to stop Grant grabbing the role.
