Hugh Jackman has been offered the role of the Huntsman in Universal’s Snow White & The Huntsman, alongside Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron.
Viggo Mortensen recently turned down the part, leaving the studio scrabbling for a replacement. Jackman was due to be making Wolverine, but director Darren Aranofsky left that project in the lurch to spend more time with his family.
That means Jackman might just have a gap in his schedule, unless Fox can fill Aranofsky’s shoes.
Snow White & The Huntsman is of course not to be confused with Realitivity’s The Brothers Grimm: Snow White, starring Lily Collins and Julia Roberts. Although you’d be forgiven for confusing the two, as they’re both scheduled for release next year – and both about Snow White.
