Jersey Shore Gets Florence Guidelines

Not too long ago we told you that Italians were not looking forward to hosting the cast of hit US show Jersey Shore. Now it seems that the mayor of Florence, Matteo Renzi, is equally perturbed and has given guidelines to the people involved with the show.

Renzi wants to make sure that the reputation of his city is not tarnished by the antics of the Italian-American stars and has insisted that they are not to be filmed being served alcohol or drinking in public.

He has also hinted that he will ban them from accessing some of Florence’s historical sites.

What will happen to Jersey Shore without alcohol? Surely then it’ll just be ‘the sober idiot’s guide to Italy’?
