Jim “Jesus” Caviezel has signed up for the antagonist’s role in Sylvester Stallone/Arnold Schwarzenegger prison movie The Tomb (we’re told that’s not a dig at the two leading men’s ages…).
Sylvester Stallone will play Ray Breslin, an engineer who designs prisons for a living. Surprise surprise, Ray is framed for a crime and ends up incarcerated in one of the very facilities he helped make escape proof. Well, how’s he going to get out? With the help of Arnold Schwarzenegger of course, a fellow inmate called Church. Hang on, doesn’t this sound like a movie version of Prison Break?
Caveziel’s down to play the warden of the prison who we’re sure will make more trouble for Sly and Arnie than confining them to solitary or threatening to detroy their library.
It’ll be directed by Mikael Håfström (1408, The Rite) and filming will take place this year for a 2013 release.
