Far from chilling on their successful laurels, The Descendants co-writers, Nat Faxon and Jim Rash, are currently busy flogging an as yet untitled comedy project to production company Indian Paintbush.
Set to star bezzy mate Kristen Wiig, no details about plot have been released as yet and no timescale has been announced.
But it comes as no real surprise that this chuckle-inducing trio are working together given their dim and distant past as part of LA comedy troupe, The Groundlings.
Formed by Gary Austin in 1974, this improve comedy school has helped to launch the careers of Lisa Kudrow, Jon Lovitz and loads of other funny people.
Wiig, Rash and Faxon all attended the school together back before they were international film success stories.
That is not all that the duo of Faxon and Rash have up their comedy sleeves. As well as another as yet untitled script for Descendants director Alexander Payne, the pair are getting ready to take a turn behind the megaphone with Black List coming-of-age effort The Way, Way Back, starring Sam Rockwell and Allison Janney.
