Liam Neeson In Negotiations For Non-Stop

Fresh from shooting lightning bolts out of his fingertips in Wrath Of The Titans, Liam Neeson is in negotiations to take the lead role in airborne thriller Non-Stop. It sounds like it’s the perfect vehicle for Neeson whose roles of later seem to involving punching someone or something (terrorist, wolves, foreigners).

Joel Silver will produce with Dark Castle Entertainment – reuniting him with Neeson after their work on Unknown.

Non-Stop is written by Chris Roach and John Richardson and the rights were snapped up last August, with Jeff Wadlow (who was behind the megaphone for modern Karate Kid flick Never Back Down) slated to direct. It sees Neeson as a fed up air marshal on a regular domestic flight who has to contend with an as yet unspecified threat.

Neeson will next be seen in boardgame-to-movie adaptation Battleship and he’s just finished filming Taken 2 which should be released in October.
