The girl-group were a bit rubbish during Saturday evening’s live show and attracted criticism from all the judges apart from their own mentor Kelly Rowland. But it was Misha B who got the chop last night though as the public voted her off. The 19 year-old from Manchester didn’t look surprised by the decision, after finishing in the bottom three on three previous occasions.
Little Mix have now been instated as hot favourites at 4/5 on to win the title next Sunday, with Marcus Collins close behind at 11/10 and Amelia ‘The Comeback Kid’ Lily out at 5/2.
The girl-band seem to have built a large fanbase with their consistent performances in the competition, but didn’t impress on Saturday night.
“There was something missing on that performance,” said Louis Walsh after there rendition of ‘You Keep Me Hanging On’. “There was something wrong with the styling – you’ve lost your mojo.”
“I feel like you guys have done better performances,” said Rowland, making an understatement for possibly the first in her career. Gary Barlow then suggested that they might need to restructure the group.
“I’m one of your biggest fans – and I want to say that Perrie is the best singer in this band, and she needs to be featured a lot more than she is at the moment,” said the Take That man.
