Mean Michael McIntyre Reduces 9 Year-Old To Tears

Middle England’s favourite middle of the road comedian made a nine year-old child cry during an audition for this year’s Britain’s Got Talent last month.

Little David Knight had been trying to impress the comic and fellow judges David Hasselhoff and Amanda Holden with a stand-up routine in Birmingham, but McIntyre reduced him to tears by buzzing him out after the youngster revealed that Harry Hill was his favourite comedian.

“I was about to say that you were my favourite!” sobbed the poor youngster when McIntyre pressed his buzzer before he’d even started. The comedian quickly told the lad that he was only messing about. “It was a joke – but it wasn’t one of my best,” he squirmed. “I’m sorry. You’re a star in the making.”

“He had bought a one-way ticket to tears,” said McIntyre afterwards. “I thought I was going to have to jump on the stage. The buzzer is so loud! I hope they edit that out – I don’t want to see him jumping out of his skin.”
