Barrymore Breaks Celeb Coach Trip Rules

The rules of Celebrity Coach Trip are: you have to be a celebrity to take part. So imagine the surprise of producers when Michael Barrymore couldn’t find a celeb mate to go with him and had to take a ‘regular’ friend instead.

An insider reportedly said that it’s the first time a non-celeb has been allowed on the show.

But a look at the line-up suggests otherwise with Katie Price’s make-up artist Gary Cockerill and his husband Phil Turner, Lizzie Cundy and model Emma B, ex Lib Dem MP Lembit Opik and Alex Best and Big Brother contestants Brian Bello and Spencer Smith.

Calling this show Celebrity Coach Trip makes about as much sense as describing Big Brother as ‘Orwellian’.
