The real life sweethearts will star as an anxious pair of houseband phobics who find love in the safety of a virtual relationship.
Sudeikis will play George, a man crippled with agoraphobia who meets Barrett, a woman struggling with her own serious anxiety issues. They become smitten chatting on the phone, talking about the dates they’d enjoy if only they could stomach going out into the world. But as their connection grows, they begin to think about putting aside their problems and finding real love.
The comedy marks the directorial debut of writer Christopher Storer and will also star 21 Jump Street‘s Brie Larson and Saturday Night Live‘s Fred Armisen, as George’s friend.
Wilde will next appear on screen in Butter, Blackbird and Welcome To People.
Sudeikis will be seen in Movie 43 and Jay Roach’s The Campaign with Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis.
