Olivia Wilde says she’d love the opportunity to play Tomb Raider icon Lara Croft.
Talking to MTV, she said: “That would be so awesome. I love Lara Croft…As far as I know right now; I’m not playing [her]. But that’s really cool that people think I should.”
With the Tomb Raider franchise reboot now featuring Angelina Jolie, the role looks to be very much up for grabs and speculation look set to continue as to who will get the part.
Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby are writing the script, Graham King and Tim Headlington are confirmed producers but a director is yet to be attached to the project.
If you’re desperate to see Wilde soon though, you can see her in the upcoming Cowboys and Aliens alongside, well, Cowboys and Aliens.
