Former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin has condemned plans for a movie about the 2008 Presidential Election and accused Hollywood bosses of using her story for financial gain.
Julianne Moore is set to portray Palin in the film version of John Heilemann and Mark Haperin’s book Game Change.
Talking to Fox News Palin said “I think I’ll just grit my teeth and bear whatever comes what may with that movie… I am all about job creation and I guess I could provide some of these gals who pretend they’re me some job security. I would ask though that – if they’re of the mind of spreading the wealth around – that perhaps they want to spring for one of my kid’s braces or something as they capitalise on pretending to be me.”
Surely hearts everywhere will bleed for Palin’s plight, and agree that it would only be fair if this poor, suffering family were to be given some of the proceeds from the film. Because that’s how capitalism works, isn’t it Sarah?
