Paul Rudd Gains Admission

It was only three weeks ago that Owen Wilson was down to for the lead role in Tina Fey comedy drama Admission but he’s pulled out and Paul Rudd is currently in talks to fill in the gap.

About A Boy‘s Paul Weitz is down to direct Karen Croner’s script which will see Fey play one Portia Nathan, an admissions officer for an Ivy League college. She’s happy with her rather humdrum life but is inspired to make some changes when she starts a romance with a man she once new in high school (Rudd).

Fey’s currently on hiatus from 30 Rock, so that’s the perfect time to try and squeeze in a movie. She was last heard on screen in Megamind and last seen in the suprisingly decent Date Night.

Rudd meanwhile popped up in hippie commune comedy Wanderlust which was out a few weeks ago. He’ll next been seen in The Perks Of Being A Wallflower and Judd Apatow’s spin-off of Knocked Up, This Is 40 which is out at the end of the year.
