Sister to the Duchess of Cambridge and chief bridesmaid extraordinaire, Pippa, is rumoured to be at the centre of a £30, 000 bidding war to secure her first interview with salivating journalists and TV interviewers.
Pippa, is publishing a new party-planning bible with Penguin after she bagged herself a £400, 000 book deal with them in November 2011. Lucky for Pippa, those daft US TV bosses are thought to be “pulling out all the stops” to land an hour-long special with Middleton sister, who is thought to be one of their “dream guests” of 2012.
“The big guns see Pippa as the big-name interview of 2012. Oprah and Barbara Walters are hot on the case,” a source said.
Pippa was chief bridesmaid at the “wedding of the century” last April when Prince William wed University sweetheart, Kate Middleton. Her white Sarah Burton bridesmaid dress almost stole the show from her lace-clad sister. Outrageous but fair, her botton did look amazing.
Pippa is expected to donate the fee from the interview to charity…but she’ll probably buy a handbag or have a party or something as well.
