Super-diva popstress, Rihanna, has signed up for a new TV project which involves her tracking down an exciting new fashion designer.
The as-yet-untitled show will be hosted by Girls Aloud singer, Nicola Roberts, and will air on Sky Living later this year.
The Bajan beauty will executive produce the series and is also expected to appear a number of times. She will wear an outfit designed by the winner for her upcoming Wireless festival performance in Londonâs Hyde Park in July.
Rihanna said: “I’ve always had a great love of fashion. It’s a constant source of inspiration and is a big reason why I’ve grown into the artist I am today.
“I am excited to follow the journey of our aspiring contestants and see how their individuality influences their efforts.”
The ten-part series will follow ten wannabe designers as they are challeneged to create a number of outfits for a whole range of musical and celebrity talent.
Nicola added: “I am so excited to be working with Rihanna on finding a new up-and-coming designer.
âI was so flattered when she asked me to work on the show. Iâm so excited for us to get started.â?
Insiders have revealed to The Sun that Rihanna, who has sold more than 20million albums, would be “heavily responsible” for casting and would be involved in the show’s editing and post-productionâ¦
