Series Number Four For Outnumbered

BBC1’s family sitcom Outnumbered has been renewed for a fourth series.

Six new episodes will be airing later this year, along with a second Christmas special. Dates are yet to be confirmed.

An announcement on the BBC Comedy blog said: “This year the Brockmans are confronted by an array of challenges in the shape of death, drugs, terrorism, getting old, food science, Top Gear, the joy of ventriloquism and the perils of Subbuteo.”

Outnumbered stars Hugh Dennis and Claire Skinner as Pete and Sue Brockman, along with Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Rocha and Ramona Marquez as their three kids Jake, Ben and Karen.

10-year-old Ramona won the British Comedy Award for Best Female Newcomer in 2009 for Outnumbered, aged 8, while the show bagged Best TV Comedy.
