Seth Rogen Signs Up For Another Cop Comedy

Seth Rogen evidently has a penchant for uniform, specifically that of a police officer.

He made a brilliantly stupid (and funny) cop in Superbad and went on to play a less funny bobby in Observe and Report, and has now signed up for another cop caper with Kevin Hart (Death At A Funeral).

The film, as yet untitled, is being described as “the first interracial police pairing in law enforcement history”. Set in a post-World War II era of jazz and indulgence, Hart and Rogen will play the two intrepid officers tasked with investogtaing a seedy drugs ring.

Rodney Rothman (former Late Show With David Letterman head writer) has reportedly been working on this scrip for years and made friends with Rogen on the set of Judd Apatow’s college comedy series, Undeclared.

Rogen was last seen in 50/50 and co-wrote Neighbourhood Watch, which will be out on August 29. Hart has both Engagement and Think Like A Man due for release on June 22.
